Students can practice the first 20 elements of the periodic table by working against their partner to draw as many correct as possible. Divide the deck of cards between 2 or 4 and set a timer. Students race to draw their atoms and correct them afterwards. The last 4 cards of the deck have questions relating to number of neutrons, periodic table groups and comparing subatomic particles. These can be used to break a tie in groups or as extension questions.
