This lesson is applicable to all class levels with suitable differentiation. It is flexible as it allows you as a teacher to use little to lots of art materials depending on the resources available in your art cupboard !!
At the end of this lesson, children will be enabled to recognise and understand the importance of warm and cool colours in art works and also develop an appreciation for the work of Bruce Gray through the drawing and colouring of their own designs influenced by the contemporary artist and sculptor.
Also a perfect lesson to link with the strand – Shape and Space in Maths as a fun-free way to explore lines and angles while also developing children’s spatial awareness !
