This workbook is a scene by scene supported analysis of key moments, scenes and techniques. A three-pronged focus for scenes is used: techniques, language analysis and form/structure. Important contextual issues such as witchcraft, Divine Right of Kings and kingship in general and gender expectations are all identified within relevant scenes. Students can use this independently or as a classroom tool. By the end of this workbook, students will have engaged meaningfully with the key components of each scene. Suitable for all levels but created to support low achievers to engage meaningfully with ‘Macbeth’ and to delve into the key areas for each scene. The completed workbook can then serve as a study guide for each scene.
