A fantastic hands-on learning experience that challenges all students 1st to 6th year. This activity prompts students to investigate data on the height of falling blood droplets versus the size of the blood spatter. Junior cycle students can use the line of best fit method to estimate the height from which a droplet has fallen. Teachers can easily increase the difficulty of this activity by introducing the concept of fit and the r-squared value for students in TY and beyond.
